The Share a Special Meal Initiative is a community-centered outreach program designed to promote autism awareness through connection, dialogue, and shared experiences.
Through this initiative, we organize and host a special meal within selected communities. After sharing the meal together, we engage participants in meaningful conversations about autism, inclusive homes, and the importance of creating supportive environments for children and individuals on the autism spectrum.
By combining fellowship with education, we create a welcoming atmosphere that encourages openness, understanding, and community involvement.
Communities Reached So Far
We have successfully shared meals and conducted awareness sessions with:
- Noah’s Ark Home
- Kaliro Katono Jamia Community – Luwero
- EmbraceKulture–Maani Center – Entebbe
- Bamunanika Muslim Community
Our Impact
This initiative helps break stigma, build compassion, and strengthen partnerships with local communities, faith-based groups, and care centers — ensuring that autism awareness spreads through both information and human connection.
