Who We Are
Vermillion Foundation is a Ugandan non-governmental organization committed to creating awareness, understanding, and acceptance of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Founded in 2021, the foundation was established in response to the widespread misconceptions surrounding autism and the limited access to support services for individuals on the spectrum and their families.
Our work is driven by the belief that autism is not a limitation but a different way of experiencing the world — one that deserves understanding, dignity, and inclusion.

Our Journey
What began as online conversations and awareness campaigns during the COVID-19 lockdown quickly grew into a community-driven movement. Through social media discussions, community outreach, partnerships with autism centers, and nationwide campaigns, Vermillion Foundation has continued to bridge knowledge gaps and provide tangible support to inclusive homes and schools.
Over the years, we have engaged communities through awareness campaigns, media engagements, school visits, sporting activities, and direct support initiatives aimed at improving the quality of life for individuals living with autism.
Our Commitment
We remain committed to breaking down stigma, dispelling myths, and building a society that recognizes and values neurodiversity. Through education, advocacy, and community engagement, Vermillion Foundation continues to champion acceptance and create spaces where individuals with autism can thrive.
Together, we can build a future where understanding replaces fear, acceptance replaces stigma, and every individual is valued for who they are.
